At its 40th anniversary, G-SHOCK introduces the Gemstone Series, inspired by the vibrant gemstones used by Viking-era navigators as compasses, embodying the adventurous spirit of seafarers. Each watch in this series is crafted using CMF technology to resemble different "gemstones." The GM-114GEM-1A9 represents calcite, with a forged metal bezel that mimics gemstone texture, enhanced with gray and gold IP coatings on the metal to replicate gemstone colors, and a resin strap with embossed textures. The GM-5640GEM-1 represents sunstone, featuring a forged metal bezel with rainbow and black IP coatings to reflect gemstone characteristics, paired with a gray translucent resin strap. The GM-2140GEM-2A represents jadeite, with a forged metal bezel featuring blue IP coating and a mixed-color molded resin strap to emulate gemstone features. Additionally, each watch in this series includes a special G-SHOCK 40th anniversary logo on the metal keeper and case back.
