This is a collaboration between PRO TREK and the Nature Conservation Society of Japan, which has always pursued outdoor usability and focused on functionality and operability. PRO TREK has been supporting the Nature Conservancy Society of Japan since 2018, and this time the design was inspired by one of the most important areas that the association has been focusing on, namely the water-rich mountainous area. Minakami Mountain, which has long been known as the source of the Tone River, is a water bottle in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and retains a lot of untapped natural beauty and supports the creatures around Tokyo. Inspired by this background, the dial depicts the snow melting on the upper reaches of the mountain to form drops of water flowing down to the rivers. Based on the story of "mountains and water", the design focuses on the contrast of white and blue to improve visual recognition. In addition, the subdial at 10 o'clock has a design of the eagle, a symbol of the water mountains. The back is engraved with a pattern design with the theme of "イヌワシ (eagle) and the snowy river of the mountains of Omami". The PRW-61NJ is expected to reduce the environmental burden by using the DuraSoft strap from the waste generated during the production process as a recycled material. As with the base model PRW-61, the case and resin back panel are made of bio-resin, which is expected to reduce the environmental burden, reflecting environmental concern. In terms of functionality, the watch is equipped with a triple sensor that measures direction, barometric pressure/altitude, and temperature. In addition to the measurement function, as the basic function of the watch, it also has practical functions such as six radio waves and solar power. It is a watch with high functionality and practicality that can be adapted in a variety of scenarios. About The Nature Conservation Association of Japan: The Nature Conservation Association of Japan promotes the slogan "Creating Tomorrow with the Power of Nature" and is committed to living together in a society where people and nature are in harmony with each other, so that everyone from infants to the elderly can live happily in a beautiful and rich natural environment.
